Member since 2003

American Institute of Architects advocates for the value of architecture and gives architects the resources they need to do their best work. AIA’s work drives positive change through the power of design. Founded in 1857 by 13 architects, the organization is now over 95,000 members strong with over 260 chapters around the world.

AIA International is the broadest geographical region of the American Institute of Architects, providing a collaborative leadership platform to empower members and encourage global success through best practice, innovative thinking and design excellence. The Region now comprises of 7 Chapters worldwide.

AIA Japan is a bridge between US professional practices and Japanese design firms, professional associations and educational institutions, engaging in a dialogue to enhance the architectural practice in Japan through local events, educational programs, mentorship and overseas travel activities.

ULI is the oldest and largest network of cross-disciplinary real estate and land use experts in the world. ULI is its members. Through our members’ dedication to the mission and their shared expertise, the Institute has been able to set standards of excellence in development practice.

UrbanPlan program is a realistic, engaging exercise in which participants—high school students, university students, or public officials—learn the fundamental forces that affect development in our communities. Participants experience challenging issues, private and public sector roles, complex trade-offs, and fundamental economics in play when proposing realistic land use solutions to vexing growth challenges.

A private club and functions as a non-profit organization for men and women either professionally engaged in, or who support, the fine arts and the performing arts.

Committee member in 2008 – 2012

Operating as a charitable adjunct to The Cliff Dwellers private club, The Cliff Dwellers Arts Foundation’s ongoing mission is to support the arts. This is accomplished through its providing funds in the form of grants to arts-oriented organizations and individuals, presenting events at the club such as concerts, performances, and films, and sponsoring an annual music competition.

The Chicago Architectural Club provides an open forum, an infrastructural framework and support platform for architects, artists and writers to discuss, challenge and enrich a dialogue among practitioners and scholars.

To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
